Thank you to Paula from Raspberry and Lime Designs for this blog award! I was very excited! Please go and visit Paula's blog-she has some awesome projects to share.

Now, this award does come with some rules so please follow along:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this
2. Share 8 things about yourself
3. Pay it forward to 8 bloggers that you have recently discovered
4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about their awards

Okay, so here are 8 Things about me:
1. I love scrapbooking and card making.
2. Autumn is my favorite time of year.
3. I have 4 wonderful children who are all grown except my baby who is 12.
4. My husband and I both have some awesome hobbys/crafts that we both love doing.  We are geeks by day as we both have computer type jobs.
5. I live in the country in the beautiful Blue Grass State of Kentucky.
6. I wanted to do 4am shopping on Black Friday- but overslept and missed most of the sales but seem to succeed on this Black Monday.
7. I love coffee-hot in the winter and ice coffee in the summer (just like Paula).
8. I am so happy to have started a blog and met so many wonderful fellow bloggers!  Paula a big shout to you for being my first and only follower.  LOL

I would like to send this award out to the following crafty ladies and gent:
1.  Jessica Sprague (my digital and hybrid inspiration)

Homemade Glimmer Mist

A card I practiced on making my own homemade glimmer mist. I used a few drops of butterscotch alcohol ink from Ranger, one small little scoop of perfect pearls in copper also by Ranger and 91% alcohol mixed in a mini mister. (This was for the goldish color) For the blue I used blue pearl x, stream blue alcohol ink, a few drops of a blue mettalic ink (also by Ranger) and 91% alcohol in a mist bottle. Used both colors on the paper flower too. The other stamped images are from Stampin Up!

Hybrid Christmas Card

I made this card with a digital kit by a designer name Joann from 1068 Designs. I printed it out and mounted everything on cream cardstock and embellished with my glittler pen.
